How to Apply Strip Lash Extensions
Now that you’ve been introduced to our four top-selling strip eyelash extensions, you’re probably wondering how to apply them. While our standard lash extensions do require more advanced techniques, strip lashes are relatively easy to apply. You’ll just need a tidy workstation, Yegi lash glue, and, of course, your strip lash extensions.
1. Remove Your Makeup
Before applying your strip lashes, you want to make sure your eyes are clean and makeup-free. Use makeup remover to remove any product from your eyes, then wash with your preferred facial cleanser.
2. Trim the Lashes to Size
Eyes come in all shapes and sizes. Our strip eyelash extensions are sized so you can cut them to the perfect fit. Simply hold them up to your eyelid and look in the mirror. If there’s any extra material, snip it off with a pair of scissors. Snip carefully, bit-by-bit, until you find the perfect fit. You can always trim it down more as needed, so keep your snips teeny-tiny.
3. Apply Glue to the Lash
Now, you’re going to apply a small strip of glue to the lash. You can use a toothpick or paperclip for precision. Don’t add too much, but make sure the surface is covered. If it’s drippy or clumped, you’ve added too much.
4. Apply the Lash to Your Eyelid
Now that you’ve applied your glue to your strip eyelash extensions, it’s time to apply them to your eyelid. Put a mirror below your chin around chest level. You want to be looking down, not ahead. Use your non-dominant hand to hold your eyelid shut and carefully apply the strip of the lash to the base of your natural eyelashes. Gently hold it in place until it sticks on its own.
5. Mask the Strip with Eyeliner (Optional)
Voila! Congratulations, you’ve applied your strip lash extensions! You can pat yourself on the back and call it a day, or you can add a touch of eyeliner if you want to hide the strip for a more natural look. Just use your favorite liquid eyeliner to draw from the beginning of the strip on the outer edge of your eye to the inner corner of the eye.
